Georgia Tech will be hosting 10 undergraduate researchers this summer for our NSF-REU program in Aquatic Chemical Ecology.

The full-time, 10-week program will start May 20 and run until July 26. Participants will receive a stipend of $5,000 plus accommodations with kitchen facilities in university housing, and help with travel expense to and from Atlanta.
In 2013, Deep-C is initiating a new internship program designed to carefully match interns to opportunities proposed by Deep-C scientists. These Deep-C research experiences will vary in focus and duration (anywhere from a week to a semester) based upon the needs of participating scientists. Individual internships may be open to high school seniors (age 18+), undergraduate students, graduate students, and/or teachers.
The GSA Birdsall-Dreiss lecture, was presented by Dr. Dani Or Wednesday, January 23rd. The title of the lecture was “How do porous surfaces control evaporation into the atmosphere?” The topic was presented with a focus on the physics of the problem.
